Industrial Designer

What you will do

• —Develop industrial design directions across form factor, ergonomics, CMF, and product storytelling.
• —Create sketches, renderings, mockups, and prototypes that communicate product intent clearly across the team.
• —Partner closely with mechanical engineering to translate design intent into manufacturable hardware without losing the core experience.
• —Refine details across part breaks, finishes, and interactions so the final product feels thoughtful in the hand.

What we are looking for

• —A strong portfolio of physical product work that demonstrates taste, restraint, and user empathy.
• —Comfort with 3D modeling, prototyping, and communicating design intent across engineering and manufacturing partners.
• —Experience designing consumer hardware or other products with demanding material and manufacturing constraints.
• —You are based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco.

Nice to have

• —Experience collaborating directly with tooling vendors, CMF partners, or overseas manufacturing teams.
• —Familiarity with designing around packaging, accessories, or multi-part product systems.
